TRM Labs joins Arc: blockchain intelligence + monitoring for enterprise-grade apps
TRM Labs is now part of the Arc ecosystem as a compliance and risk monitoring provider, giving builders access to blockchain intelligence, wallet screening, and real-time monitoring for Arc transactions.

Why this Matters for Arc Builders

Most production apps eventually need the same set of controls, regardless of whether you call them “compliance,” “risk,” or “trust and safety”:
  • You need a consistent way to screen counterparties before moving money.
  • You need monitoring to detect unusual activity as volume grows.
  • You need an auditable workflow for reviewing and resolving alerts.
Adding this late is painful. Adding it early makes your product easier to ship to serious customers.

What TRM Provides for Builders on Arc:
1) TRM Wallet Screening (pre-transaction)
Use policy-driven address screening before onboarding, deposits, withdrawals, payouts, or treasury moves. This is the “should we allow this transfer right now?” gate your backend can enforce.
2) TRM Transaction Monitoring (post-transaction)
Continuous monitoring and alerting for onchain activity, paired with workflow support (assign an owner, track what triggered an alert, record notes, and close it out). This matters as soon as you have real users and real money moving.
3) Enterprise trust posture
TRM publishes an enterprise security and compliance posture (SOC 2 Type II, ISO standards, FedRAMP High environment availability), which is often table-stakes when you are selling into regulated or security-sensitive environments.

Examples of App Workflows:

  • Before value moves: screen the wallet/address at key moments (signup, deposit, withdrawal, payout).
  • When value moves: monitor transactions and contracts for risk indicators and anomalies.
  • When something triggers: route alerts into a review workflow with ownership and notes, so your ops team can move fast without guessing.

Typical Arc use cases

  • Payments and payouts: reduce fraud exposure in outbound flows
  • Exchanges and onramps: screening + monitoring tied to deposits/withdrawals
  • Bridges and crosschain apps: risk controls around inbound/outbound transfers
  • Stablecoin-heavy apps and DeFi: operational guardrails as activity scales

Arc Docs lists TRM as a supported compliance vendor here:
If you are building on Arc and want to sanity-check where screening/monitoring fits in your architecture, drop a note in the comments with your app type (payments, DeFi, bridge, exchange, etc.).
